The BenQ AK800ST golf simulator projector is a 4K short-throw laser projector that packs a serious punch. With 5,000 lumens of brightness, lifelike color, and detailed visuals, this projector is ready-made for piping balls down the fairway.
BenQ AK800ST Features
Golf Mode 2.0
You might as well be feeling the wind on your face with Golf Mode 2.0. Using an AI video processing chip, BenQ calibrates every frame, bringing out vivid, natural colors, textures, and examines every detail for a more realistic golfing experience.
Experience Rich Detail
AI powered video processing tweaks every frame to bring out the small details across the golf course. 97% Rec. 709 color keeps course details looking organic and natural, while enhanced contrast adds depth and definition from tee to green (or wherever your ball lands).
8.3 Million Pixels
With true 4K clarity and the highest available pixel density, every tee box, pin placement, and tree-lined fairway comes to life in rich color, exactly like you see them on the course.
Ambient Light? No Problem.
Sim lighting keeping you up at night? Rest easy with the AK800ST and its fantastic 5,000 lumen count. Bright colors and clear projection eliminate the need to block out all ambient light sources.
How It Works
Setting Up with Ease
Auto Golf Screen Fit 2.0
- Automatically detects the size and shape of your impact screen and adjusts the projected image to fit.
Auto Focus
- No need to bring out the rickety chair to make adjustments. One-touch motorized auto focus sharpens the image from your remote, saving you hassle (and a slip off the chair).
Ambient Light Enhancer
- Optimizes image settings to your room’s lighting to help keep course visuals clear and vibrant.
Motorized Zoom
- No need to reposition your projector, just use your remote to fine-tune your throw distance.

Mounting Considerations
Flush to the Ceiling
Mounting your projector flush to the ceiling is a popular choice for golf simulators. It stays clear of your swing path and helps minimize shadows, making for a cleaner setup.
Drop Mount
For high ceilings or precise height adjustments, drop mounting is an ideal solution. This setup allows you to lower your projector to the perfect height, ensuring an optimal view for your simulator.
Enclosure Mount
For a sturdy, streamlined setup, consider mounting your projector directly to the frame of a Carl's Place Pro Enclosure. This method provides solid support, extra protection, and a sleek, clean appearance.
